ACT I is proud to announce a new scholarship program for community Metro High School seniors.

ACT I Theater will award a $500.00 non-need based competitive scholarship during our 2005-06 season to a Metro Nashville Public School senior pursuing an accredited college degree program in theater or acting.  Up to 15 students (one from each Metro High School) will be recommended to compete by the drama instructor at their school.  Each student will prepare two contrasting monologues and will be judged by Nashville area actors and/or directors.  The competition is tentatively scheduled to take place mid-winter 2005-06.  Applications will be made available through Metro high schools in Fall 2005.
